Neath Port Talbot Mind is a mental health charity based in Neath in South Wales. We cover the entire Neath & Port Talbot area, and are part of a network of Local Mind organisations across England & Wales.

The NHS Direct Special Health Authority is responsible delivering all NHS Direct services in the UK. This includes the NHS Direct telephone service, the NHS Direct Online website, the NHS Direct self-help guide and NHS Direct Information Points.

 

NHS Direct Wales Health, WellBeing and Support Directory
A comprehensive directory of wellbeing and support services available locally in Neath Port Talbot and nationally across Wales, provided by both the voluntary and statutory sectors.

It can be accessed:

ARA Gambling Service

It is thought that in the UK some 1.4 million people are affected by disordered gambling. This does not take into account loved ones, friends or family. A survey carried out by Citizens Advice suggest that between 6-10 people are affected. 

Our service is for both the gambler as well as affected others, with our Six to Ten Project providing holistic support solely for affected others.

National Exercise Referral Scheme (NERS) - Neath

NERS is a Public Health Wales initiative to promote physical activity in those people who are currently inactive or who have certain medical conditions. NERS stands for National Exercise Referral Scheme.

Parkrun

A free, fun, and friendly weekly 5k community event held at Gnoll Park every Saturday morning at 9:00am. Walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate – it's up to you!
