Appointments

All appointments must be made either through the receptionist, or My Health Online.

To see a doctor, please call between 08.30 and 10.30 for a morning appointment and between 13.30 and 16.00 for an afternoon appointment.

There are a limited number of afternoon appointments (specifically for medical examinations, i.e Fostering or HGV) that can be booked a few days in advance at the Glynneath Surgery only.

Note: If you have an appointment with a clinician outside these times, access is via the main entrance doors which may be locked. Please ring the intercom bell at the Main Entrance in Glynneath.

All routine doctors appointments are ten minutes. Clinic appointments may be longer.

Note: the Practice is closed for Protected Time for Learning (PT4L) on the second Wednesday in January, March, May, June, September and November.

Urgent Medical Appointment

If you have an urgent medical need for a Doctor's Appointment (that does not require 999 assistance), then please press option 1 from our telephone menu after hearing the various options to come through to our emergency line.
